Cyprus in Lebanon: A Vital Trade Showcase
to
Access The Vibrant Middle East Market
Cyprus
enjoys a unique location that has for years made it an important
trading nation. Lying in the Mediterranean Sea and in proximity to
many Arab countries, its trading relations with its neighbors
developed naturally. Cyprus's entry into the EU signifies a new era
of economic growth and a further development of trade relations with
both the EU and Arab nations. Cyprus is thus destined to play a
crucial role as a bridge between the two. Within the next ten years,
the region is expected to experience increased activity and
progress, in the form of joint ventures, off-shore companies and
industrial plants.
Lying straight across from Cyprus is another important maritime
nation: Lebanon. Its own special geographic location led to the
commercial significance it possesses today. Its importance in trade
in the region and its location in proximity to Cyprus make it the
natural entry point of the EU into the Middle East.
We in the International Business Alliance Group (IBAG) believe that
Cyprus should embark on immediate action to make use of the
proximity of these two countries.
Therefore, IBAG in collaboration with My Fair public relations ltd.
and with the kind support and patronage of the Cypriot Ministry of
Commerce, Industry and Tourism, will be organizing “Cyprus in
Lebanon" a vibrant trade showcase of Cypriot goods and services.
This effort will be the first step of many towards forming more
solid and stronger trade relations between Cyprus and its Arab
neighbors.
The event will be extensively promoted in Cyprus, Lebanon and the
neighboring countries.
We look forward to having you among our valuable participants.
